Our room was very spacious and comfy. The front desk staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful at recommending great places to eat/grab a drink. The location is good very walkable to the business district as well as the campus area. Parking is not free but appears reasonable compared to other downtown options. We got a complimentary breakfast which was adequate. Our only complaint is the A/C is not the best and would constantly reset itself to 60 degrees.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The spacious room layout and abundant storage made traveling with our one year old so easy. The staff was very helpful, always quickly grabbing us a high chair when they saw us for breakfast in the morning. Decent breakfast options. Location was A+. Super clean. Great amenities including the pool and and easy-to-use printer service. Staying at this Hyatt was the best part of our 10 day trip to Wisconsin!

Great spot to stay in downtown Madison. Carter at the front desk was awesome. He got us checked in early and got us two great rooms that met our needs. Great location and easy to walk to everything - dining, farmers market, and of course old-fashioneds.

Great experience staying at the Hyatt Place. Clean and large rooms. Quiet space. Great staff. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, though still would recommend heading up to the farmers market if you can swing it since it's so close to the square. Parking was also very easy. Free for the first car (need to get a permit from the front desk) + additional cost for the second car. Don't forget a permit from the front desk, as they do tow in the garage behind the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

You will pay $20.00 per night to park, even though on the list of amenities it says parking is paid. Warning: it is listed as pet friendly. So be prepared to have dogs barking in lobby, in the hall while you're trying to sleep, and joining you in elevators.

Room was very comfortable and perfect for visiting my son, daughter and grandkids. Breakfast was great. Loved the convenience of the parking.
